NEW GAME!

Oh, the joys of video gaming. I promised myself I wouldn't blog about video games twice in a row, but you know. It's so convenient. This New Remade video game takes place in the same place which Pokemon Gold did. (You see a resemblance in the title) In case you don't know, the symbol for this game is this...well I'm not going to say it because it'll make me sound like a nerd. Anyhow, this game is a remake of a previous game, and so has a lot of things that are the same. However, they've added a bunch of new features to this game for a new experience. So you start as this boy/girl who is helping a professor with his research on pokemon. Then someone breaks in and steals a pokemon. He becomes your rival. Fairly similar to a lot of pokemon games. Except in this remade version, they changed it so that your backpack and battle system is different. If you have this game, it's worth looking at, and playing through if you liked this series. I haven't finished it, but pokemon games can take upwards of 100 hours, if you go through all the side quests and training and things like that. (which I happen to like doing) It's a great game, like all the one's in the series, but maybe more advanced than it's predecessors, Pokemon Gold and Silver. A nice game, worth spending time, a lot like the other pokemon games. I like it, but I've only played a couple hours on it, so...well I like it so far. Let's see if that continues. I always liked this series. It's a good long game, like many of the other pokemon games. Hopefully it will be even better than the ones before it.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

Yet another turn based game. An old one, which I've recently come back too. A short game by RPG standards, it is only about 20 hours long...if you only finish the main game. Fortunately, you have the opportunity to continue it after you finish. You wake up one morning after having a really, really weird dream. Then you find out you're a pokemon. (big surprise) Anyway, you see another pokemon and he/she decide to form a rescue team. (thus the name) The pokemon you become depends on your personality, how you answer the personality test. Well the storyline is that you have to save a bunch of pokemon of find out how you became a pokemon. Coincidentally, there is a legend going around that there was this evil human was cursed and so became a pokemon. O_o (By the way, you lost your memory, so you have no idea) Yeah. So anyhow, there are maybe two dozen or so dungeons in the game, and they range from 3 minutes, to say, 4 hours. Big time gap there. And after you finish the main game, you have the option to continue a post-game, with new dungeons and things like that. That setup is actually pretty common. Oh yeah, if you've noticed my new background, Yuming told me how to fix that, so ask him. (Not that many people are going to see this except for said Yuming) Those three pokemon are actually starter types. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you probably aren't a pokemon fan. So, if you have this, and have some time on your hands, play it. (The game takes about 20 hours to finish) Yep. Well, I'm pretty much done here. By the way, the guys with the red eyes aren't the bad guys. (Well, one of them is, but I'll leave you to find that out) Yeah, that's all I got. Have fun playing it, or at least reading this post, which I'm sure nobody will. Oh yay.
